Optimized data rate allocation for dynamic sensor fusion over resource constrained communication networks

چکیده

This article presents a new method to solve dynamic sensor fusion problem. We consider large number of remote sensors which measure common Gauss–Markov process. Each encodes and transmits its measurement data center through resource restricted communication network. The cost incurred by given is quantified as the expected bitrate from center. propose an approach that attempts minimize weighted sum these costs subject constraint on state estimation error at formulate problem difference-of-convex program apply convex-concave procedure (CCP) obtain heuristic solution. 1D heat transfer model for 2D target tracking drone swarm numerical studies. Through simulations, we observe our proposed has tendency assign zero rate unnecessary indicating sparsity-promoting, effective selection heuristic.
